Doughbird- Moab, UT

Doughbird- donuts, chicken, coffee. Any questions?

This little gem can be found in Moab, Utah. The city is famous for being close to Arches National Park (which you can read more about here), Canyonlands National Park, biking and more. In fact, there is so much to do in the surrounding areas that makes it a very popular stop for all kinds of people that can get quite crowded during peak seasons.

Alright, enough about the city. Lets talk Doughbird.

You can find this bakery right off of main street. If your hotel is close enough, we would highly suggest walking there because parking is scarce, especially on the weekends.

Once you walk through the door, you are greeted with the sweet smells of freshly made and glazed donuts, brewing coffee and chocolate. You can see the case of donuts in front of you as you step forward to place your order. Our favorites were the square croissants. They were so buttery, flakey and had just the right amount of sweetness to give you the hiking energy you need for the day. Some other flavors they have include dulce de leche cheesecake, cookie dough and many more.

We ordered ours to go and had a picnic at the national park- I would highly recommend doing this. It was so much fun and we were all sugared up and ready to hike after breakfast!

What about the chicken you ask? Well, we only stopped for donuts this time around since we were going to be out hiking all day and didn’t want it to get cold. Next time we find ourselves in Moab, we will definitely make a point to try the chicken because we hear it is very good!

If you try their food and absolutely fall in love, they do have a small section for selling their merch including things like t-shirts, coffee and coffee cups.
